Why Quick Interchangeable Guitars
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with guitars—not just playing them, but understanding how every piece works together to create something magical. I’d spend hours swapping necks and bodies I found online, experimenting with pickups, and turning every build into a personal project.
That curiosity really kicked into gear when I was thirteen. I remember standing in a guitar shop, asking the salesman if I could swap the necks between two guitars. One was a set neck, the other a bolt-on. His quick answer was “no.” But to me, it sounded more like “not yet.” That moment sparked the idea that would eventually become Quick Interchangeable Guitars—a system that lets you swap necks and bodies in seconds, without losing setup, tone, or playability.
In 2013, I moved to Vancouver Island to apprentice under master luthier Sigmund Johannessen, where I learned the craft inside and out. Not long after, I opened my own shop and began refining what would become my patented interchangeable design.
Fast-forward to 2022: the patent was approved, and Krobot Guitars was born. Every instrument I build is an invitation for guitarists to create something truly their own—without the headache of custom ordering or rebuilding from scratch. Whether you want a subtle tweak or a total transformation, my goal is simple: to make guitars that evolve with you.
Welcome to Krobot Guitars— where innovation meets craftsmanship, built for players who love to create as much as they love to play.
